- 미국 반도체연구조합(SRC: Semiconductor Research Corporation)과 과학재단은 2억 달러 규모의 4년 단위의 나노전자소자 연구에 12개 연구팀을 선정했다. 24개의 대학이 참여한 12개의 학제간 연구팀은 기존의 트랜지스터를 대체할 수 있는 새로운 개념의 혁신적 스위칭 소자를 개발하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이번에 선정된 12팀은 다음과 같다.
